A warm welcome back to TELCO team to our new Lead Organiser, Lina Jamoul, on her return after four years as an Organiser with ‘United Power’ organization in Chicago. Lina was a leader in TELCO from 2004 to 2007. She was based at Queen Mary University of London and represented The Geography Department. She also wrote the first PhD on community organizing and TELCO during this time.

Lina also takes over as Borough Organiser for Hackney, Waltham Forest and Shoreditch. She replaces Matthew Bolton who is now Lead Organiser on the Living Wage and is working with leaders to build North London Citizens.

Emmanuel Gotora is the second dedicated TELCO Organiser. Emmanuel grew up In Zimbabwe where he attended St. Martin's Convent School, Oriel Boys High School and Kutama College. Emmanuel holds a degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering and another in Theology. Emmanuel joined TELCO in September 2008 after a successful career in employment brokering and significant experience in youth pastoring at the Wood Green New Testament Church of God where he currently worships. Ruhana Ali - Community Organiser, Tower Hamlets

Ruhana Ali is Organiser for Tower Hamlets and leads the Muslim Organising project, Ummah in Action. Ruhana grew up in Luton and studied Social Policy at the London School of Economics. Ruhana has been organising for 6 months and has good experience in leadership development and in the media.
